When I (Katesa) visited Velabengasho, being accompanied by Laduma and Susa Madela, Velabengasho asked his bones if we might see us again in the future. Two bones representing himself and me ''shook hands'', which he took as a good omen- Fortunately with right.

Velabengasho's wife Gabajana Mhlongo serving the two friends beer, utshwala. As a sign of her high rank- due to her own wealth in cattle- she wears a red Louri feather.

The meat was deposited for one night for the ancestors spirits in Ziphelaphi's beehive hut. (In traditional beehive huts the ancestors' spirits feel well). The meat is placed on green leaves with which the floor is covered.

As F2/23 but additionally with the head of the ox: While Susa walks up and down Laduma stand still and presents the ancestors' spear.

The ox which is going to be killed by Mashingeni Khumalo with a single stroke of the spear is fastened with a grass rope to a tree. Suasa as the social father of the family is going up and down with his knobstick and praises the ancestors of Madela's to the honour of whom the ox will be killed.
