These two little girls with their engaging smiles have achieved the highest award a Brownie can get-the golden Hands badge. This badge is only awarded when a Brownie has completed a programe of other badges, and only the best of the Brownies may wear it.

The girl guide at left  was just one of the many who participated in Thinking Day, held last month to celebrate the birthday of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, who started the Scout, Guide and Brownie movements.
