50 years of bliss for Joan and Cecil. ST. Peter's Anglican Church was the setting for the marriage of Joan and Cecil Newton-Parry on December 15, 1934. Joan and Cecil met when they were both science teachers at Newscastle High School.

To celebrate 75 years of Girl all Guide movement, the Durban North pack has decided that the best way to do this is by helping others. The Durban North Brownies are collecting funds which go towards the training of a dog by the South African Guide dog Association.
