Guides and Brownies from all the units of the North Durban Division gathered together last week to see the results of this year's major good deed project. The girls have spent the last three months knitting squares to be made into blankets for disabled people of all races. Mrs Nina Kerr, the division commissioner for North Durban said the guides and brownies had decided on this type of project because 1981 was the year of the Disbaled. She said a number of charity organisations had put in requests for the blankets.
