A redish coloured wood with a long plain body.It has a white carved head handle with two ears, eyes and beak like mouth. Possibly from Zulu or Pongola

Globular large calabash with a hole cut at the top. Decorated with bras wire. It was donated by May L Byron.

Beaded necklace:Ulimi

Long bead work patch in line with green and black lettering ' MAWULELE NGIYAKUSHIYA'.  It is made out of plastic beads and it wass worn by a married woman from Richmond district in 1979.

Serving spoon

Large wooden serving spoon.The handle has a zig-zag and burnt design of diamonds. It was used as a serving spoon by Mrs A. M Cook from Inanda.
