Oral interview, conducted in Nairoi, with P. K. Leballo (1924-1986) a leader in the Africanist movement and later in the Pan Africanist Congress, serving as its secretary general from its founding in April 1959, and later as its acting president in exile.

Interview with Peter Donald Hjul

Oral interview with Peter Donald Hjul who was a leading figure in the Liberal Party, which existed from 1953 until 1968. Born in Northern Rhodesia in 1929, Hjul lived in Cape Town where he became involved in producing trade journals for the fishing industry in the early 1950s.

Interview with Ntsizi Elijah Moremi who was a refugee in Kenya in the late 1970s. An adherent of the black consciousness movement, he became involved in efforts to create an external wing of the movement, the Black Consciousness Movement of Azania (BCMA) in 1979-80.
