Campbell Collections
Overport house. Built c 1864. Durban's earliest mansion built by William Hartley, Natal first banker and mayor of Durban in 1959. Built miles from the centre of town. It was demolished c.1967. The painting of the house was donated to the Campbell Collections in 1989 by Mrs Hope Hands a surviving granddaughter of William Hartley.
