The mother of Mxoveni, Velabengasho and Mkhafuleni Khumalo. Her name was Qhamkile ka Makhoba Khumalo. She was an isamgoma, a diviner. Her top knot is a wig. Her bandolier of respect, isikhafulo, is worked in crochet. Her skirt is from blackened neat's leather.

A little daughter of Mkhafuleni in the Great hut behind a large beer vessel, isikhamba. This is 43 cm high and stands within the fireplace. Its opening is covered with a rectangular eating mat, isithebe, and a plaited beer pot cover, umbenge, which is decorated with beads.
