Great weekend. On Friday I get a big envelope from SA with documents, clippings & photo of you with Thabo, Jay Naidoo, etc. then this morning getting to work a reply e-mail. |

Sunday again a quiet Sunday, for a change. Only problem is that the rainy season has now been delayed for two whole weeks. The heat is unbearable, and I can judge the consequences of the lack of rain in my back yard. |

It seems like all my letters begin like…”It’s been a helluva week.” Well, its true. Im exhausted, dead tired. And I can’t wait for Monday to write to you, because Monday will even be worse. |

Sunday again. A letter for Phyllis-day again. Not much to say this time. Except the weather. Just when we thought spring was safely in, a new cold front comes in. its cold, very cold since yesterday evening. |

I finally remembered that black ink is kinder for your eyes, its 5:45 pm of mothers day, a big thing here in Cuba, more than workers day, and mom lies on the couch under the mango's tree, asleep after a hectic day of kissing and visits of grandsons and phone calls. |

Its Tuesday, im two days late in my weekly mail. For Latinos, Tuesday the 13th is what Friday 13th is for Anglos. But im not particularly superstitious. At least not today. But let me tell how my week was. |
