Umbrellas go up as the rain comes down, but nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of the huge crowd which gathered to honour Chief Luthuli at Curries Fountain last week.

OURS IS A CONTINENT IN REVOLUTION AGAINST OPPRESSION AND PEACE AND REVOLUTION MAKE UNEASY BEDFELLOWS. THERE CAN BE NO PEACE UNTIL THE FORCES OF OPPRESSION ARE OVER THROWN 'SAID CHIEF A.J. LUTHULI IN HIS NOBEL ADDRESS WHICH HE DELIVERED IN OSLO ON MONDAY NIGHT.
