This investigation attempts to present a scientific exposition of the development, functioning and community relationship of the Indian Police in the South African Police Force. The training and work responsibilities of all policemen in the Force are the same. An analysis of the opinions and attitudes of a sample of Indian respondents was also made.
This is an aspect which should not be neglected if a good relationship is to be maintained between the police and the public.
