A Note on the Indo-European Situation

A clear declaration by the Government that it is its intention to pursue the ideals set out in the preamble of the United Nations Charter specifically "to promote social progress and better standards in larger freedom South Africa needs such a re-affirmation in respect of its internal policies as well as with regard to its place in world affairs. An assurance that its future legislation and its administrative policy would be directed towards this ideal would help.
