The Governor has had the honour of receiving the Address of the Honourable the Legislative Council, No. 20 of 1888, dated the 2nd August, in which the Council expresses the opinion that the time has arrived when the Laws relating to . Indian Immigration should be revised, and that the Government should introduce a Bill with that object next Session.
