Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, Govan Mbeki, Ahmed Kathrada, Raymond Mhlaba, Andrew Mlangeni, Denis Goldberg and Elias Motsoaledi were today sentenced to life imprisonment in the Rivonia trial which since last year, has been the focal point of world attention.
