Alex Tatteh-Lartey begins this programme with music from Mozambique, Nampula Province in the north of the Country. The women choir seem to sing of the pain and suffering that has captured on paper by the Nigerian artist, Obiora Udechukwu and exhibited under the title of "Rhythms of Hunger". Obiora Odechukwu studied art, specializing in painting at the Nigerian University of Ahmadu Bello and then at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is an established artist with his works hanging in several galleries in Lagos, including the National Gallery of Modern Art.
