This is an exhibition devoted to the history of the Kanga, the printed cloth which for over a century has been such a colourful feature in Swahili society. Which took place at London's Commonwealth Institute. The exhibition was organized by Fatma Shabaan Abdullah an artist, designer, teacher and the director of Arta and Museums in Zanzibar.
