Members of the Zulu Congregational Church captured hiding in a cave at Farm Hopewell-Thala, KwaGudlintaba near Thornville, led by Makhanda Mbongwa and Mjongo Bhengu. They resisted against the colonial government in 1906 during the Bhambatha Rebellion.
