This old man arrived just as the bus was about to leave. As he was not one of the official party he was not allowed on board, so he climbed up on the wheel to see if any of friends were inside.

Off to Nongoma. Sixty jubilent Zulu men, all employed by the Department of Bantu Administration, were given a day off work and provided with free transport to attend the installation of Prince Goodwill.
