|Letter from Frederick to Phyllis Naidoo||
Although I’m very glad Rhonda was transferred to our office in Nairobi, I had one regret and that was that I would be losing my contact with you. Anyhow, I will always be grateful for the chance of meeting you, and I hope my travels will bring me again to Lesotho while you are still there.
|Letter from Sarah to Phyllis Naidoo||
Thank you for your letter of 7th October - the post does seem to be quick these days. It was good to hear from you, sounding more like the Phyllis I used to know in Lesotho - house full of guests, looking after other people, mind still turning round the legacy of apartheid!

Thank you for your letter of the 27th October, reached me today. The 19th October is the 11th anniversary of Machel's murder, and the 14th anniversary of Maurice Bishop's assassination. My calenders are marked with the monthly anniversaries of both my sons.
|Letter from Munroe Gilmour to Phyllis Naidoo||
Here are some thoughts about Chris which you requested: When you lived at the "Survival Center", I remember coming often (around meal time no doubt) and Chris, would be sitting there in a folding chair up against the wall leading to the back of the house.
|Letter from Friend to Phyllis Naidoo||
A bomb last night at Chris (ANC up here). He and the family okay. Car totally destroyed and part of the home. The guy setting the bomb error somewhere along the line and it went off, burnt him badly. He is a Mosotho, in his shock he mumbled things about Alfred from Bloemfontein.
