Letter in lieu of May visit 1971
At home 29/05/71
Darling our daughter is 5 today. What a host of memories accompany the very mention of this fact. I prepared her table last night and left Poomoney and Bongi with Ben Desiree, Sam and Strini all helping out as indeed I could not stay over. If anybody thinks I am going to grovel for permission to attend at my daughter's party they can think again. My mother tells me that I hardly crawled in my babyhood.
