This programme looks at the big annual London Film Festival that just came to an end. Another event noticeable is the British Airways Poetry Prize with its African prizewinners. Kobena Eyi Acquah from Ghana was the winner of the Africa Area Award for his collection of poems, "The Man Who Died". Acquah is no stranger to this programme and his poetry were broadcasted. Timithy Holmes from Zambia was selected as the Best First-Time Published Poet for the Africa area with his collection called "Double Element".
