Description: The photograph depicts a group of Basotho men wearing traditional military attire. They are carrying Basotho wing-shaped shields, conical-shaped staffs (possibly made of ostrich feathers), and sticks (possibly knobkerries). One of the men is holding a long, narrow staff with feathers at the end. Another man is wearing a plume on his head, and has an animal skin draped over his shoulders (possibly a leopard skin).
