Circular to all SRC's, local committees and other Black Organisations calling on Black students to work together for liberation, following the deportation and subsequent house arrest and banning of a final year Theology student, Sabelo S Ntwasa, on Friday 17th March 1972.

The memorandum contains commissions to assess, among others, the theory of the struggle pertaining to the Black culture, the feasibility of research into education suitable for the struggle of students in Universities, and possible student benefits programmes.

Community Action and Development

For effective programs that make the Black communities aware of the problems that bedevil it, SASO developed well planned educational programmes to train Black leaders. The aim was to create a just and healthy community which would be able to realise its full potential.

Culture in its various manifestations can be used to liberate Black people and this memorandum discusses the importance of Black poetry, literature, music and fine art
