a gathering of black Christian youth. Different choirs and other groups were invited to perform and show off their talent. The topic for the Festival - Faith without works is quite death. The various speakers were encouraging the youth to stand together and stand for what is right.

Culture Course Drama Workshop May 1990

A drama workshop held at the University of Natal students were registered for a Cultural Diploma. The academic present was Professor Ari Sitas. The large group was didivided into smaller and each group was allocated a topic regarding culture and working life which they had to role-play.

CASA TOOK PLACE IN AMSTERDAM IN DECEMEBR 1987 AND WAS ATTENDED BY 300 SOUTH AFRICAN ARTISTS, OF WHOM 120 CAME DIRECTLY FROM SOUTH AFRICAN AND 180 AS EXILES FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD 'BEFORE DAWN' IS A CO-PRODUCTION OF ANC IN LUSAKA AND THE ANTI-APARTHEID MOVEMENT NETHERLANDS IN AMSTERDAM.

A workshop held by leadership to discuss how COSATU has grown in membership and how difficult it has been to organise this large organisation. They also discussed the regions cultural activities and workshops. The workshop was held at Howard College.
