I have enclosed your letter, envelope and photograph. It would appear that the letter was wet, the envelope was opened and the photo stuck to your thank you note.

On both my parents scrap books (2) I would like the following inscription or something that has all these elements.

When I leave messages on your cell phone I am never sure that you check on these messages. I am so glad you called yesterday. It was you on the 30/6/88 who said, to the lady who adds sunshine to my life.

I have tried for days to find your address even tried the Registrars office and it was permanently engaged. I wanted as did so many others, to put my arm on your shoulder to bring a little bit of the warmth in your life and the lives of the children.

On Friday the 9th October, 1989, the Union of Cuban Writers, Actors and others met me ( a South African Revolutionary) at your offices in Havana and gave so generously of your time. You also presented me with the poetry of Nicholas Guillen.

Just had your letter of the 18th April, 1997, for which many thanks. April is an awful month for me. Sahdhan would have been 36 years old on the 4th April while the 15th was the 8th anniversary of hie assassination. Yes the joy of his birth and the horror of his death are all in April.

Terry Bell is a comrade that was in Tanzania and then went sailing round the world. I met him in London. I read him too but missed the Fawu Conference. Whats going on the Trade Union you nurtured Ray?
