Another week, so its time for another letter.

Its odd writing a date with three straight nines. Its like your car is getting to the end of its mileage, or like it’s a discount year, “on sale.” Anyway, I guess this is going to be a long long letter I’ve been meaning to write to you ever since you left.

Sunday again a quiet Sunday, for a change. Only problem is that the rainy season has now been delayed for two whole weeks. The heat is unbearable, and I can judge the consequences of the lack of rain in my back yard.

Sunday again. A letter for Phyllis-day again. Not much to say this time. Except the weather. Just when we thought spring was safely in, a new cold front comes in. its cold, very cold since yesterday evening.

I finally remembered that black ink is kinder for your eyes, its 5:45 pm of mothers day, a big thing here in Cuba, more than workers day, and mom lies on the couch under the mango's tree, asleep after a hectic day of kissing and visits of grandsons and phone calls.
 

I enclosed herewith the relevant extract from the City Council minutes of the 22 December last in which is set out the proposal which was put to the Hon, the Minister of the Interior during his recent visit and discussed at the meeting with you and representatives....

Its Sunday again, so I am writing you a letter as I promised. Fourth letter in four weeks you should be receiving the first one anytime now or perhaps you will be receiving the one Clara says she left at the embassy in Pretoria.

Third Monday, third letter to you, fourth if we count Clara's, in a row. I also have an email for you, but we have to wait to go to work to pass it, and will probably not be before Friday 11.

So much to talk about. I just finished drafting my 3rd post hospital long email to you, but decided to write letter, mom will certify and post tomorrow. I still ignore if you got the long letter I sent with Clara. I have received nothing new from you after I left the hospital.
